Haven't been for a long time. Great selection! And fair prices. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Such a great store!

Unhelpful and poor customer service, limited card games and pretentious “clicks” it’s a real mean girl vibe.. if you ain’t “in” with their shop they could care less about your business. Not a friendly place to go, and not to mention they are scalping prices left and right with just about everything when it comes to collectibles. Find anywhere else to go in this town like B-sides gaming or the comic book shop. I hope this place crashes and burns, or maybe they’d have a chance if they were revamped with their entire staff and actually made it an atmosphere a person outside of your neighbors moms basement dweller would want to exist. RIP.

Merlyn's is a comic book shop in central Spokane. It has a nice old school comic shop feel and a large selection of comics and games to enjoy. There are miniatures and dice to play with, along with a nice book selection. The big deal about the shop is that they are the indie shop in the area. There is more than just DC and Marvel, or even Image and Dark Horse. The comics can be obscure new stuff for you to enjoy.

This review is colored by nostalgia. About 30 years ago a quiet, wide-eyed, imaginative kid first walked into Merlyn's in Spokane. I discovered a wonderful world of make-believe that was a balm to an introverted teen's growing pains. Over the years I've kept one foot in that world, and was happy to see that Merlyn's was still around when I moved back to the area recently. Their selection of board games, models, collectible trading card games and comics is extensive, and their staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved is the indoor temp in the heat of summer. Having A/C would definitely make playing RPG's and cards in the open play area at the back more enjoyable that time of year.

Nice local comic book shop with a HUGE selection of products, ranging from comic books, to D&D and pathfinder plus other role playing games. The nerd culture decorations are a huge plus as well. And it being attached to the saranac commons is also super nice with all the local shops that are just a few feet away!!

i dig it. knowledgable and friendly people. love all the plants. pretty decent selection and willingness to order in. ive played a few games there in the gaming area, and that was a dope experience. also connected to the saranac commons next door. ill take and post pix next time I visit.
